PLENTYWOOD, MONTANA (July 24, 2020) – Sheridan County has confirmed that one (1) County employee tested positive for COVID-19. Results were received on July 21, 2020. The employee presented with symptoms while traveling outside Sheridan County and had been out of the county for more than 48 hours prior to symptom onset. The employee followed all CDC guidelines, quarantined immediately after being tested, and has recovered. No other County employees have been identified as close contacts to the positive case. County operations have not been affected.
The Sheridan County Board of Commissioners asks everyone to follow all CDC, State & County Public Health guidelines.
